The Department of Business Administration had a humble beginning in the year 2006. Since then, it has grown steadily boasting of a strong base of 350+ students. A unique feature of the department is its student diversity which includes students from across India as well as a good number of international scholarship students. The BBA course is a professional three-year degree which trains students aspiring for a career in business management. The specialisations available are Finance, Marketing and Human Resource Management. The department adopts interactive teaching methods that help students acquire knowledge and skills and form attitudes appropriate for managerial positions in business, industry, banking and corporate sector. The faculty members encourage students to participate in fests like Management Fiesta, Vibrant Week and other intercollegiate competitions. The department also organises industry visits to expose students to real life business situations. Regular Parent-Teaching meetings ensure parents are informed about their wards attendance and progress. B-Connect is a student’s business committee that simulates a business set up and uses role play to help students understand the roles of the Board of Directors and Business Managers.
